Thanks to funding from the Justice Agency this month we were able to purchase mountain bike equipment, 12 mountain bikes and a trailer to transport the bikes in – we are so thankful to God for this amazing blessing!!

We look forward to using these bikes on our Easter Activity Scheme happening on the 14th-16th April.

Our cheerleading squad – The Moira Vipers, have shown a massive amount of commitment this year in their practices every week in preparation for the Northern Ireland Cheerleading Championships which took place on 1st March in the Antrim Forum. After getting ready at LOGIC the squad had their make up on, hairs up, bows in and uniform on and they were ready for the day ahead. They really looked the part in their uniforms and new hoodies! We arrived at Antrim Forum just in time for the start of the competition.

With just enough time to watch a few of the performances the girls were eager to get on the warm up mats for a final practice. After a group photo and a quick warm up, it was time for their performance. Nine of the girls had never experienced a competition before and so they were naturally very nervous.

Finally it was the Vipers turn on the mat. The whole squad did excellently! They performed really well as a squad and looked very professional and in sync. After their performance we watched the other squads perform until the Awards ceremony at 3o'clock.

The Squads all gathered on the floor and waited patiently for the results. The Moira Vipers won Second place in the Level 2 Seniors Category! A brilliant end to a brilliant day!
